Introduction of Dream Sitters Non Profit Youth Organisation
About Dream Sitters Non Profit Youth Organisation
Dream Sitters (NPO) is a Hout Bay,Cape Town based non profit organisation that focus on uplifting lives of the disadvantaged children in IY(Imizamo Yethu),Hout Bay and South Africa at large.
The organisation was launched by Miss Miriam Tetani,a strong lady who champions and stand for the equality of every child living on the planet.
Miriam ,herself being a child born and raised in Imizamo Yethu,Hout Bay understand how it feels to be born and raised poor in an unequal community like Imizamo Yethu. She has gone through all the harsh realities and as a mother now with her own children, she does not wish any child to go through what she experienced.
Her own experiences are the driving motives that pushes her to do something back to her community and South Africa at large especially now that the levels of poverty are escalating in South Africa and leaving most of our youth vulnerable.
Dream Sitters Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) registered in 2023. Its aim is to empower vulnerable children, youth, those who are marginalized, and the community at large to unlock their full potential in order to develop resilient pathways and skills that lead to a sustainable future. We operate locally in Hout Bay but plans are in place to rollover and touch every child that need support country wide.
Bringing people together to end poverty for good
Our mission is to bring hope and transform the lives of disadvantaged children in South Africa by providing access to quality education, implementing feeding schemes, offering skills training, raising awareness about land pollution and overpopulation, and empowering the youth to build a brighter future
