I are now living in Cape Town, not not even close to the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. From the house I have a wonderful view of Table Mountain along with its ever changing light and clouds and particularly after the winter rains, dazzling waterfalls.

I endeavour to create original pieces of art where work and care are obvious. I appreciate art as an ongoing process and don't let myself get bored too fast. Due to the nature of oils almost all of my paintings evolve, i enjoy the variety and aftereffect of glazes; sometimes a spontaneous 'a la prima' just happens.

I choose to paint what I like; and painting is for me personally challenging every so often, but always exciting and lots of fun.
